Is it naive to believe that poetry can be a social conscience and a force for change?

The astute will note that the original artwork for the header on this blog is based on a recent magazine cover. A magazine cover which was inspired by a 2008 NBA playoff campaign and heavily based on a series of popular movies. My daughter inserted the missing text and I manipulated the image. The result is in the tradition of Warhol and Lichtenstein: Pop! (Creepy but Pop!)
